Star Valli Yamaha teammates Kyle Summers and Ross Neeley had a successful Worcs race at Lake Havasu this past Saturday and Sunday with Kyle going 2-3 for 3rd overall and Ross 8-7 for 7th OA. Ross’s finishes don’t show his ability as a crash on Saturday had the Chester, CA resident shaking his head but he got on the gas coming from almost last to 8th for a strong ride. Sunday had the first year Pro1 rider dicing with the multi year experienced Justin Soule and Gary Sutherlin pushing himself to 7th to match that overall. Kyle Summers had a rough Saturday as he didn’t think he needed a water pack and came to realize half way through the race how off that decision was. Kyle, Taylor Robert and Mike Brown spent the first several laps 3 abreast all looking for a way around each other. Kyle and Taylor finally separated from KTM’s Brown and pulled away to finish in that order. Day 2 Sunday found the weather to be a little overcast and Kyle feeling about the same after feeling the affects of not hydrating properly on Saturday. After dicing once again with Roberts Kyle started feeling the affects of Saturdays miscue and allowed Brown to pass him for 2nd but keeping the Florissant, CO resident on the podium for the 3rd time in 4 races. Yamaha, Dunlop, Scott Gear/Goggles, Bell Helmets, RockStar, TM Designworks, Racer Decal, Pro Taper, Leatt and Gaerne support the effort and are all quality products and people. Looking forward to the next WORCS race April 21,22 at Speedworld MX just outside Phoenix, AZ
